The brainchild of Mark Piccles, A.D.K.O.B (A Different Kind Of Busy) came to be last year as a solo project for Piccles, with him slowly gathering band members over time. The majority of the EP was self-produced, with Glue mixed by Tim Carr at Studios 301. You can watch a teaser for Glue‘s video below.

Speaking about the recording process for the EP Piccles commented “I find myself re-recording things over and over again, to get the exact sound out of my head once a concept is there. And coupled with my laziness, it can take forever. Which it almost has. In terms of a set idea for the EP, not really. The writing and recording of the songs that we have chosen for it was fairly spread apart. There’s no real running concept. It just represents where we are at as a band up to this point“.

Thursday October 1 – The End, Brisbane
Thursday October 8 – Freda’s, Sydney
