Bob’s Burgers actor allegedly cut from the show for Capitol Riot involvement

Bob’s Burgers voice actor Jay Johnston has been indefinitely cut from the series following his alleged involvement in the Capitol Riot in January.

Jay Johnston is the voice actor behind the character Jimmy Pesto on the animated television show Bob’s Burgers and has played a supporting role as Bob Belcher’s business rival in 43 episodes of the Fox series.

A number of sources have revealed that Johnston has not worked on the show since January and there are no plans for his character to return to the series in the foreseeable future.

In March, a photo was posted by the FBI on Twitter, depicting a person that would show up at your door if you ordered George Clooney on Wish.

Fans are pretty confident that the person depicted is Jay Johnston but the identity of the individual is yet to be officially confirmed.

Johnston is an Emmy-Nominated comedy writer for his work on Mr. Show with Bob and David, a HBO comedy series that aired between 1995 and 1998.

He has also acted in the popular Breaking Bad spin-off series Better Call Saul as well as voice acting on a number of other shows including Momma Named Me Sheriff, Mr. Pickles and Mary Shelley’s Frankenhole.

Bob’s Burgers is currently working on its 13th season of the show, with a film based on the series scheduled for release in 2022.

Johnston first appeared in the sixth episode of the show’s very first season and has been a regular cast member since.

The series’ production studios, Fox and 20th Television Animation have not made any comments on the issue but it seems like Bob will be happy to finally be rid of his annoying neighbour.
