Dave Grohl performed with The Beatles after getting high with Joan Jett

Turns out, Dave Grohl smoked weed and ‘tripped balls’ with none other than Joan Jett and Miley Cyrus before performing with The Beatles.

An epic combination that you don’t hear of every day surfaced after Foo Fighters frontman, Dave Grohl, got stoned with Joan Jett and Miley Cyrus.

In 2015, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony provided a window of opportunity for Grohl to escape the humdrum of the event. Grohl’s curiosity led him to a dressing room, where he joined Joan Jett and Miley Cyrus for a cheeky blunt. No veteran of smoking the devil’s lettuce, Grohl mentioned how he ended up slightly higher than expected.

Before he knew it, Grohl was being summoned back to the stage. He was due to close the ceremony with a Beatles number alongside Ringo Star, Paul McCartney and a throng of iconic performers.

I walked out there so high that I hid behind Stevie Wonder.

While Grohl’s personal recount of the event paints quite the comical picture, he was adamant about never repeating the scenario, “I won’t be doing that this year, that’s for goddamn sure.”

The photo below captures the iconic performance, featuring the 420 bandits, alongside rock royalty.

Cyrus can be spotted in an oversized purple tee and black combat boots, Joan is sporting a pair of black and white striped, Beetlejuice-esque pants, and Grohl is at the far right of the stage, keeping it classic and understated in all black.

Grohl shared the funny memory in light of news regarding his second induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with The Foo Fighters. His first induction took place in 2014, with former punk-rock band Nirvana.

Grohl and Cyrus are expected to headline Lollapalooza, alongside Post Malone, this year from 29 July to 1 August. The festival is known to draw crowds of over 100,000 people, with 165 acts expected to perform across eight stages.

Although the festival is guaranteed to get wild, we doubt Grohl will be rippin’ another fat one this time with Miley.
