Next week Download Festival Australia will descend upon Melbourne and Sydney, and the set times are finally here! Check them out below.
Alongside the set times came the announcement that two lucky triple j Unearthed winners have been chosen to join the stacked lineup.
Sydney three-piece Redhook are set to play the Sydney leg of the festival, before heading to Download Festival UK later in the year. Meanwhile, Windwaker will be opening Melbourne’s Download Festival. Set to drop their Empire EP this March, the punk-rock five-piece will be joining the likes of Rise Against, Luca Brasi, and The Amity Affliction on the lineup.
While original headliner Ozzy Osbourne has had to pull out due to illness, Slayer has promised 90 minute sets as a part of their Farewell Tour. What’s more, Judas Priest and Alice In Chains will play for 75 minutes each. Huge!
Other local acts joining the bill include Twelve Foot Ninja, Ne Obliviscarus, and Sydney pop-rock group Yours Truly.
