Renowned Goodfellas actor, Paul Sorvino has died, aged 83, from natural causes. His wife has spoken out: “Our hearts are broken.”
Actor Paul Sorvino, known and loved for his work in a myriad of iconic films and shows including Goodfellas and Law & Order, passed away yesterday at the age of 83 from natural causes. His wife, Dee Dee Sorvino, was reportedly right beside him at his time of death.
She has made the following statement through the late actor’s publicist, Roger Neal: “Our hearts are broken, there will never be another Paul Sorvino.”
Following the tragic news, Paul’s daughter Mira made a touching tribute to him via Twitter: “My father the great Paul Sorvino has passed.”
She continued, “My heart is rent asunder- a life of love and joy and wisdom with him is over. He was the most wonderful father. I love him so much. I’m sending you love in the stars Dad as you ascend.”

Mira’s post was met with a wave of love and support, as stars offered their condolences and shared fond memories of working or spending time with her father.
Among them was Ralph Macchio, who wrote: “So very sorry, Mira. I was privileged getting to work with and know Dad a bit. Much love to you and your family.”
