Fall into the flawless sounds of Late Night Thoughts’ new EP Worth It.

With a string of EPs and singles already under their belts, Massachusetts-based duo Late Night Thoughts have spent the past number of years carving out a sound for themselves that feels simultaneously grounded and explorative—it’s rooted in acoustic pop, but reaches far wider.

Now, with the release of their new EP Worth It., the band continue to establish themselves as one of music’s most exciting emerging acts. If you’re not already familiar with this band, we strongly recommend you change that now.

LATE NIGHT THOUGHTS

On their new EP Worth It., Massachusetts-based duo Late Night Thoughts present a flawless collection of rich, acoustic-pop gems.

Throughout the new EP, Late Night Thoughts—made up of Michael Harlow and Brian Rauch—glide through a hypnotic blend of pop, indie-rock, and folk to craft a sound uniquely their own. With rich, textured instrumentation and flawless vocal harmonies, Worth It. is brimming with effortless musical brilliance.

Across the EP’s four-track run-time, Harlow and Rauch pull in myriad sonic directions; they never sit in one place for too long. This, however, is the EP’s most endearing quality. One moment you’ll be immersed in dreamy guitar flourishes, and the next you’ll be grooving to electronic beats.

By the time Worth It. reaches its conclusion, you’ll have been roped in completely by Late Night Thoughts’ incredible music. This is the latest great release from this American duo, and judging by the quality of everything we’ve heard so far, I think we can safely expect plenty more great tunes.

In the meantime, do yourself a favour and listen to the new EP above.
