Double Bay favourite The Golden Sheaf is bringing the heat this winter with another free gig venture to kick off every weekend.
Every Friday night in July, the Sheaf will be honouring the hard-working citizens of Sydney with their Out of Office free party series. Work hard and play harder with exclusive food offerings, happy hours and hand-picked musical tastemakers to spice up those chilly winter nights.
Eastern Suburbs fave The Golden Sheaf is heating up your winter with Out of Office, a massive free gig venture going down every Friday night.
Out of Office will kick off with a bang every Friday with Handshake Happy Hour from 4-6pm, featuring $5 Coronas and a bunch of other saucy drink specials to wet your whistle. A tasty bar-style menu will be available from the Garden Bar, designed to treat the whole team in an after-work meeting full of fish sliders, brisket spring rolls and chicken tacos. From 6pm, Stay and Play returns with a mouthwatering range of cocktail specials while the dance floor gets moving, all the way to a 2am close.
The real treat will be the weekly showcase of local DJs, specially curated by One Hit Agency. Kicking things off on the 5th of July is Emily Scott, exhibiting her soulful house-driven selections, alongside appearances from Willo, Rash Bandicoot and Daniel Florian.
On the 12th of July, club chart-toppers and label heads Random Soul will be heating up the venue with a live funk and house set. Joining them will be delectable beats from Venuto, Squeef and Tasmen; if you want to fire up your winter nights then this line-up is a must-see.
Andy Murphy will take the reins on the 19th of July, slinging a diverse repertoire of tunes your way. His selections have made him an in-demand festival favourite, having played at Stereosonic, Falls Festival, Future Music and more. Andy will be backed by Monica Jude, Friendless and Caleb Jackson.
Capping off the month on the 26th of July will be an epic double headline bill featuring the house and techno offerings of Pantheon and triple j treasure Acaddamy, curating irresistible sets from a diverse range of old and new releases. Joining them will be Husky and Brad Mullins, to close off a month of unmissable free dance parties.
From after-workers to night owls and food lovers, The Sheaf’s Friday night transformations are the perfect way to heat up your winter and kick-off your weekends early.
