Foo Fighters are launching a radio show in celebration of their 10th studio album

Everybody’s favourite rock dads Foo Fighters are launching their very own radio show to celebrate the release of their 10th studio album, Medicine at Midnight.

Next Thursday we’ll all be Foo Fighting, with the rock six-piece planning to jump on the airwaves to launch Foo Fighters Radio.

The band are set to release their 10th studio album next Friday and to celebrate the occasion, they’ll be taking over US radio station SiriusXM before the album drops at midnight.

The channel will host the legendary fighters themselves, Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, and Rami Jaffee, will contain exclusive live performances from the SiriusXM Garage, and will contain “unrivalled programming and special commentary.”

Unfortunately, Foo Fighters FM will not be a permanent show. None-the-less, between now and the end date of April 4th, fans and listeners alike can expect some incredible insight into one of the biggest rock bands of this century.

When the clock hits midnight, (or 4 pm for residents in AEDT) their latest release will play in full and the band will give a track-by-track commentary on the album. Furthermore, the band themselves and guest DJ’s will handpick some of their favourite Foo Fighters tracks.

The band will be “sharing insight into their new album and the stories behind some of their biggest songs, demos, B-sides and rarities throughout their more than two-decade career,” as well as a series of live show recordings and rebroadcasts of Dave Grohl’s 2012 Sound City radio show excerpts.

So if this something you or your friend have been waiting for all your life, then wait no more as Fooies are back and they’re on your radio.
