New footage gives insight into Kodak Black shooting

Police have reported that rapper Kodak Black and three other men were shot and wounded during a fight near an LA restaurant hosting the after-party that followed a Justin Bieber concert.

A restaurant in West Hollywood was the scene of a high-profile shooting that saw four men admitted to hospital, including Bill Kapri, better known by his stage name Kodak Black.

Footage obtained by TMZ shows Kodak Black and his entourage stopping to take photos with fans as they left the restaurant. The footage then cuts and captures a fist fight breaking out around a red Ferrari, when 10 shots are fired, sending the crowd running.

According to Kapri’s lawyer, the shooting was an “unprovoked attack” and the 24-year-old rapper was shot in the leg while trying to help one of the victims.

Two of the men were taken to hospital in an ambulance, but the other two took a DIY approach and transported themselves there. All four victims are reported to be in stable conditions after medical treatment.

A suspect was witnessed feeling the scene and police have asked for the public’s help to identify the shooter.

A spokesperson for the LA Police Department said that they do not believe the shooting was gang related, but the investigation is still ongoing.

Justin Bieber was inside the restaurant at the time of the incident, but he left the venue as soon as he found out what had happened.

Kodak Black seems to be in good spirits following the shooting, posting a tweet just hours after that suggested he was still planning to attend the Super Bowl with Drake.

At least Drake’s Super Bowl box seats should have plenty of leg room.
