We’re giving away a custom ‘Elder Scrolls Online’ Flying V guitar!

Want to win a custom, one-of-a-kind Flying V decorated with scenes from The Elder Scrolls Online? Now’s your chance.

When talking about the Flying V and the Elder Scrolls, the word ‘iconic’ comes to mind. One of the most recognisable guitars ever made and one of the best-selling video games ever created. Today, they come together as one.

Basically, I’m pretty sure this is the coolest shit we’ve ever given away. With that off my chest… let’s get into what this incredibly rare collector’s piece is all about.

The guitar is a standard Epiphone Flying V made from mahogany, complete with all the bells and whistles you’d expect. The pickups are Epiphone ProBucker 2 and Probucker 3s on the neck and bridge respectively, and your controls include two volume knobs and a tone knob.

It’s a look and a sound you’ll know too well – the axe that’s been carried by countless iconic guitarists, from Brian May to Jimi Hendrix to James Hetfield.

This giveaway comes in celebration of a very special set of performances. This week, Sydney melodic death metal band Flaming Wrekage created two covers of songs from The Elder Scrolls Online, which are originally sung by in-game bards.

The two songs, May Disaster Turn Away and Hail to the Ancient Spirits, are pleas to the pantheon of the Elder Scrolls to keep their wrath at bay. Flaming Wrekage versions kick the intensity up a notch or two, bringing a bit of metal to these well-fitted songs of death and destruction.

As such, this guitar comes adorned with an illustration of Mehrunes Dagon, the Daedric Prince of Destruction who has been haunting players with his schemes since the Elder Scrolls was created.

It’s a design you could easily see on a heavy metal album cover, Dagon himself wreathed by flames, skulls, and cultists.

A winner of this custom Flying V will be chosen randomly after one week. Please note only Australian residents will be considered.

Please note: This competition has now closed and a winner has been contacted by email. Thank you to everyone who entered!
