Last Friday Happy Mag hopped over to Cuckoo once again for STFD: a seated gig featuring Step-Panther and Mac the Knife.
Who says you can’t sit down through a punk show? On Friday night Step-Panther and Mac the Knife rumbled over to The Marlborough Hotel’s upper level Cuckoo, delivering a truck-load of noise and good times for all involved.
Mac the Knife started the proceedings off with a bang, showcasing their rambling anthems with bravado. Not to be restricted by a mere stage, frontman Bryn made sure to roam through the seating more than once.
Step-Panther took the energy and dialled it up a notch, treating the audience to one quick blasts of punky energy after the other. With stage presence in spades and the songs to match, the crowd was reeling by the time Step-Panther stepped down.
