‘Ghost of Tsushima: Legends’ will feature online co-op, new enemies, and classes

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is coming this year on the PS4, a new co-op multiplayer mode for up to four players.

Ghost of Tsushima is a brilliant single-player open world campaign with stunning visuals and stylish combat. With near perfect scores across the board, the game has become one of the most renowned titles of 2020.

The game could not possibly get any more interesting unless… we got online co-op multiplayer for free. Following the footsteps of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends will be a huge free content update coming this Spring.

If the base game was the ultimate single-player experience, then this will definitely be the one for the squad. With four classes and up to four players, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends will step away from the original storyline and focus on the unnamed heroes of the past. PlayStation has promised new magical twists to combat, but only for those able to carefully synchronise with their partner(s).

The Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, or Assassin will each feature unique skills and offer different styles, although the details are still unrevealed for each. We can assume this will mean new skills hinging in the realm of fantasy (PlayStation has hinted that there will be magic in this one) and will include different weapons for each class.

In your party of 2-4, this game mode also has wave-based missions, a survival mode where numerous enemies assault you in troves. This will include the new Oni enemies, who also seem to have magical powers.

Ghost of Tsushima has already given players more than enough to work with already, so it’s truly refreshing to see new free content being offered. Keep in mind that an internet connection and an active PS Plus membership will be required.
