GoPro HERO11 Black is here

A bigger sensor, better stabilisation and creator friendly shooting

GoPro has unveiled the HERO11 Black, a new flagship action camera built to make everything from travel missions and surf sessions to social content easier to capture, crop and share.

The big upgrade is a new 8:7 sensor, giving creators a taller field of view that can be reframed for widescreen YouTube footage or vertical Reels and TikToks from the same clip. It also introduces HyperView, GoPro’s ultra wide digital lens for huge, immersive point of view footage.

Video tops out at 5.3K at 60fps, with 4K at 120fps available for crisp slow motion, while the camera can capture 27MP photos and pull high resolution stills directly from video. For anyone wanting more control in post, HERO11 Black also brings 10 bit colour recording to the GoPro range.

Keeping shaky footage under control is HyperSmooth 5.0, backed by Horizon Lock to keep shots level even when the camera is being thrown around. GoPro has also included its longer lasting Enduro battery as standard, improving performance across colder conditions and longer shoots.

Compact, waterproof and built for action, the HERO11 Black looks like a serious upgrade for creators who want one camera that can handle adventures, behind the scenes content and quick social edits without overcomplicating the process.
