More offical Bluesfest 2019 sideshows have been added, and damn are we getting excited for April.
Bluesfest has announced more sideshows for their 2019 festival with Iggy Pop, Nathaniel Rateliff, Fantastic Negrito, and The Marcus King Band.
Legendary punk artist Iggy Pop is set to perform in Melbourne and Sydney, with two shows at the Sydney Opera House.
Brooding RnB ensemble Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats will perform their vintage-southern album Tearing at the Seams in Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne in April.
Oakland-born artist Fantastic Negrito will bring his old-school blues and groove vibe to Sydney and Melbourne. His third album Please Don’t Be Dead was released in June and shares some hard life lessons to a sultry beat.
The Marcus King Band will play debut shows in Sydney and Melbourne with their self-professed “soul-influenced psychedelic southern rock”.
