Our favourite will-they-won’t-they couple, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have finally gotten hitched, reportedly saying ‘I do’ in classic celeb-style, with a Vegas wedding.
Celebrity superstars Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have tied the knot, with a love story that has spanned the last two decades.
The couple originally got together in 2002 and dated for a couple of years, getting engaged after just four months. After the two split in 2004, they went their separate ways for 17 years only to finally come back together.
The pair formerly known, and now known again as ‘Bennifer’ rekindled their relationship last year and, according to a Clark County marriage license, they finally got married on Saturday.
Court records show that the license was issued in Clark County, Nevada on July 16 to Benjamin Geza Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, who is also identified as Jennifer Affleck in the document.
TMZ and Page Six also confirmed the news that the couple became husband and wife in Las Vegas over the weekend.
Beniffer apparently kept the ceremony quite small with only Lopez’s mother and two kids present. A source told People: “They just wanted to be married, so they got married”.

Despite being undeniably iconic for her surname, J Lo confirmed she has taken Ben’s name.
During their first engagement, Jenny from the block told Access Hollywood’s Pat O’Brien that she would hang on to her last name for professional reasons but then added, “My name will be Jennifer Affleck, obviously.”
Jennifer’s new name was revealed when she signed off her On the JLo newsletter with it.
Hopefully, Jennifer doesn’t try to swap her nickname out for J Af… It doesn’t really have the same ring to it.
