Jack White’s The Raconteurs announce their first ever Australian tour

The Raconteurs (AKA The Saboteurs in Aus) have announced first ever Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland shows set for April 2019.

Jack White’s rollicking group have a new album on the cards after a 10 year hiatus, and now it looks like they’re booking some serious shows to prove it.

The Raconteurs aka The Saboteurs are set to take the country by storm in April, armed with new music and their first ever headline shows in NZ and Aus.

The group, including Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence (The Greenhornes, Blanch and The Dead Weather), and Patrick Keeler (The Greenhornes) dropped two new singles in December 2018, their first new music since 2008’s Consolers of the Lonely, marking the band’s re-emergence and an upcoming album set to release in 2019.

Their shows in Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland will be their first shows in the country and worldwide since 2011. These are performances that fans of The White Stripes and straight up rock n roll will not want to miss.

The Raconteurs have also joined the Bluesfest ticket alongside the likes of Iggy Pop, Norah Jones and Jack Johnson, so for a world-class festival check out their absolutely stacked full line up.
