JBL to launch documentary series about the artistry of emerging Aussie musicians

Creative collaboration and the genesis of emerging artists take centre stage in JBL’s upcoming music docuseries, JBL | BE HEARD.

JBL has announced the launch of JBL | BE HEARD, a captivating documentary series which will chronicle the artistry of emerging Australian musicians.

The docuseries will focus particularly on local singer-songwriter and producer Athanasia, with each of the 6 – 8 minute episodes offering a peek behind the curtain of her music-making.

Along the way, Athanasia will be mentored by illustrious songwriter Audius, who has elsewhere worked with the likes Delta Goodrem, Jessica Mauboy, and Paulini.

Together, the pair will embark on a creative sonic journey that delves into music production, vocal coaching and songwriting, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at shooting a music video.

Episodes of docuseries will be released on YouTube on a weekly basis, with premiere slated for mid-September.

The documentary, accessible via the JBL AUDIO YouTube channel, will also invite audience participation in the form of a watch-and-win competition, the winners of which will receive JBL products to kickstart their own musical journeys.

BE HEARD is poised to be a one of a kind exploration of the artistic process, the genesis of a budding musician and the importance of collaboration.

The series is a testament to JBL’s track record of nurturing local talent and championing the voices of emerging artists. Through projects like this, the renowned audio company ensures that a diverse range of musicians are always blaring through your favourite speaker.
