Lia Mice announces mini-Australian tour

For the first time since her blooming debut at BIGSOUND  in 2014, Lia Mice will be playing live in Australia, announcing three shows along the east coast.

Audiences in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne will have the opportunity to soak in this France-based Australian’s experimental pop act, which will incorporate an audio-visual element and reinterpretations of a setlist of songs from her albums, 2012’s Happy New Year and 2014’s I Love You.

Exhibiting the multi-tasking ability of an octopus, Mice will somehow be playing alternate versions of her own songs and also directing the audio-visual extravaganza at the same time. Mice signed with Sydney-based label Rice is Nice, home of artists like Frowning CloudsSeekae and SPOD, before releasing I Love You.

The tour will take place between 16-18 April – that’s right, three gigs in three days. What a trooper. The detailed dates are as follows:

Thursday 16 April @ Blackbear Lodge, Brisbane
Friday 17 April @ Brighton Up Bar, Sydney
Saturday 18 April @ Grace Darling Bandroom, Melbourne
