In Your Eyes is NAMESAKE’s second euphoric release in the lead-up to her forthcoming debut EP.

Hailing from Australia’s west coast is producer/DJ, NAMESAKE, who has been busy making a name for herself since her arrival on the scene in early 2020. However, she has been honing in on her craft from a young age.

NAMESAKE grew up playing drums and started DJing in 2017, establishing herself as a prominent figure in Perth’s music scene and opening up for international acts such as J. Robb and Uncle Waffles.

NAMESAKE dabbles with the likes of hip hop, R&B, and various other electronic genres mixed with her seasoned beats, aiming to get listeners jerking their heads and getting lost in the groove. The best example that showcases this is her latest single, In Your Eyes.

In Your Eyes is NAMESAKE’s second single in the lead-up to her debut EP. This single sees her teaming up with singer Princess Khanya in delivering a track filled with lush and romantic afro-beats. The track follows the storyline of the beginning stages of getting to know someone, where you both know how you feel but both are not ready to share it yet.

In Your Eyes is a track that will send you in a flurry of emotions, feeling the euphoric highs of starting to fall for someone, as well as the confusing lows as you struggle to gauge where the other person is at in this romantic journey. With dreamy fuzzed-up synths and lo-fi beats that will immerse you into the world of new romance, you will be left feeling giddy and curling your toes. Stream In Your Eyes via Spotify below.
