Now in response to a sold-out show at The Croxton, Nathaniel Rateliff has announced a second Melbourne show at the same venue. If you were spewing that you missed out on tickets or you can’t make the pilgrimage to Bluesfest this year, don’t miss your chance to catch this singular talent live.
Melbourne, prepare for another night of soulful reverence as Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats lock in a second show. This ain’t one you want to miss.
Since forming in 2013, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats have enjoyed a semi-frequent Australian touring schedule – largely due to repeat appearances at Byron Bay Bluesfest. Each time they’ve taken their crowds to church, stirring the local audience with their harmonic blend of vintage R&B, soul and Americana.
This time around they’re armed with Tearing at the Seams, Rateliff’s sophomore studio album with The Night Sweats. At times a boot-scootin’ shindig, at others a brooding body of work inspired by the likes of Leonard Cohen, it showcased a formidable maturity and diversity from the talented songwriter.
