Hot damn it’s good to have some high-quality hip hop coming out of Australia like Southside Denny’s latest track Gotham Freestyle featuring Caleb The Rapper.
Heralding from well, you guessed it, down south, Melbourne rapper Southside Denny has submitted his latest track for our Needle In The Hay vinyl competition.
After bursting onto the scene in 2019, Southside Denny, AKA Denzel M, has quickly amassed a loyal fanbase and support from The Operatives Records.
Gotham Freestyle displays Denzel’s impeccable flow over a classic boom-bap style beat. Denzel’s vast vocabulary shows us just how many ways you can say ‘I’m good at this shit’, making for a fun and cheeky tune. The song finished up with a verse from Caleb The Raper which is just as clean and energetic. Straight up, this track absolutely slaps.
Alongside the launch, Southside Denny released a music video and much like the music, it’s got that classic hip hop vibe as the rappers jump around with their mates and rap to the camera in the sun.
