Sonically reminiscent of indie post-punk acts like The Smiths and The Cure, the song possesses that catchy, melodic quality that draws you in and refuses to let go. It’s the kind of tune that gets stuck in your head and makes you want to sing along, even if you’re not entirely sure of the lyrics.

Pale Dream, a self-identified “lame indie rock band,” hails from Salt Lake City, and their music embodies the vibrant energy of their local scene. Formed in 2018 by Trey Hoskins and Mari Ericksen, the band has since grown to include Michael Hockman, Braydon Buell, and Nate Harris.

Their dynamic lineup contributes to their genre-spanning sound, attracting a diverse local crowd, from outgoing indie lovers to quiet goth kids.
