Now in its seventh year, Tasmania’s Party in the Paddock Festival is just as well known for its incredible lineups as it is for its location.
Set to a backdrop of rolling hills and the pastel-coloured skies of northern Tasmania, the festival manages to be secluded and intimate despite the fact it’s only twenty minutes out of Launceston. It’s not too far from the airport, either, for any mainlanders thinking of attending.
Party in the Paddock have consistently supplied some amazing lineups, full of local and international acts, but 2019’s lineup really takes the cake.
Over three days, from the 7th to the 9th of February, punters will be treated to performances from the likes of British pop queen Lily Allen, Aussie electro duo The Presets, and indie superstars The Jungle Giants, Middle Kids and Vera Blue. Tasmanian darlings Luca Brasi will be repping their home state, too.
As well as having an incredible music lineup, Party in the Paddock will be bolstering up their arts and culture program. The notorious Vibestown area will return for another year and will host comedic sets from everyone’s favourite funny people, Matt Okine and Gen Fricker. Plus there’s yoga, market stalls and a bunch of delicious food trucks to keep you well fed over the weekend.
You can gamble for general sale tickets when they go on sale to the public on October 16 via Oztix, or you can be safe and sign up for pre-sale tickets here.
