Portfolio Day occurs once every three months and was designed for artists and creatives to share their work in the hopes of gaining followers and new clients.
Portfolio Day was designed to drum up business for freelance creatives and give artists the chance to celebrate themselves a little.
Funnily enough, in the past, people haven’t exactly been sure when the day is meant to occur so, usually around the three-month mark, people start to post their folios and it can continue for up to a few weeks. We’re not complaining, it’s a great way to see some beautiful art and find creators that you’d like to work with in future.
This year, however, the official Portfolio Day Twitter account has announced the days are set for January 11, April 12, July 12 and October 11.
