PREMIERE: Biscuit’s new single Margot is a slow-burning slice of pop-rock glory

Since dropping their debut EP Bored And Boring last August, Sydney four-piece Biscuit have quickly established their penchant for crafting dark and slow-burning pop-rock tracks. Their sounds will swirl around you, never really landing in place – it’s a disorientating and completely captivating brand of music.

Now, with the release of their new single Margot, the band have delivered their most refined release to date… and we’re stoked to be premiering it for you today.

On their incredible new single Margot, Sydney four-piece Biscuit deliver a slow-burning slice of pop-rock that’ll leave you completely entranced.

Throughout the new single, Biscuit meander through a simmering blend of unnerving guitar lines, air-tight percussion, and haunting vocal delivery to deliver a sound that belongs entirely to themsleves.

Across its sprawling five-and-a-half minute duration, Margot builds into a cathartic release of raw instrumentation that you’ll be unable to resist being pulled into. The song is completely immersive, and we’ve been hooked on it ever since we first heard it.

Margot is taken from the band’s upcoming EP… and judging by what we’ve heard so far, I think we can safely expect plenty more quality tunes from this Sydney band.

For now, do yourself a favour and listen to the new track above.
