PREMIERE: Karma Sheen’s new EP Alif is pure psychedelic bliss

There’s something strangely hypnotic about the music of Karma Sheen. The London-based band ooze out a disorientating and free-flowing brand of psychedelia that will swirl around your head before landing deeply in the marrow of your bones.

It’s been almost a month now since we were first introduced to the band, and for that entire time, we’ve been waiting in anticipation for their debut EP, Alif. Today, the EP has been unveiled… and we’re stoked to be premiering it for you.

Once you enter the sprawling and colourful soundscapes of Karma Sheen’s incredible new EP, Alif, you’ll never want to leave.

Throughout the EP’s four-track duration, Karma Sheen glide through searing guitar riffs, bone-rattling percussion and woozy vocal hooks to craft a sound that’s uniquely their own. It’s a strange blend of 60’s psych, grunge, blues, and Hindustani Classical music – we guarantee it’s unlike anything else you’ve heard before.

Karma Sheen weave sprawling, boundless soundscapes that you’ll have no problem losing yourself within. Their music is dynamic, colourful and completely captivating – once you enter this new EP, you’ll never want to leave.

These are still early days for this London band, but judging by what we’ve heard so far, I think we can safely expect plenty more quality tunes from Karma Sheen. Here’s hoping we won’t have to wait long to hear what they deliver next.

For now, do yourself a favour and listen to the new EP above.
