PREMIERE: Lost Woods deliver the goods on their wholesome new single My Amazon

Adelaide indie quintet Lost Woods have, once again, delivered the goods with their wholesome new single My Amazon.

The band’s latest single, which follows their signature brand of heartwarming indie-pop, will leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.

Hot off the heels of Lost Woods’ well-received single Cinnamon is My Amazon, a summery, jangly indie-pop hit with only the purest intentions at heart.

My Amazon was mastered by multi-Grammy award nominee Greg Calbi, who has worked alongside the likes of The National, St Vincent, Sleater-Kinney and Frightened Rabbit.

It details the confusion of life itself; the uncertainty of pursuing a creative dream, the expectations that have been placed on us by others, and both the internal and external battles of acceptance that persevere day-in and day-out.

Despite its sometimes heavy content, My Amazon maintains a level of positivity, innocence and nonchalance that leave listeners feeling safe and calm, like everything is going to be OK.

Its jangly guitars, driving rhythm section and powerful vocals give it the grounds for being one of the most-played indie hits of the summer.

If you’re an Adelaide local, check out these shows that Lost Woods are playing in celebration of the release of My Amazon.
