Following the scuzzy mayhem of their past three albums, Los Angeles trio together PANGEA have stripped things back for their latest single Bet You Wish I Would Call. Inspired by the “50s and 60s revival that happened in the 80s,” this new track is the perfect soundtrack to a lazy Sunday arvo at your local beach.
Bet You Wish I Would Call is the first taste of the band’s upcoming EP Dispassionate, which is due out May 31st.
Los Angeles three-piece together PANGEA have shared Bet You Wish I Would Call, the laid-back first single from their upcoming EP Dispassionate.
With bright vocal harmonies and layers of summery guitars, Bet You Wish I Would Call will lull you into a warm sense of peacefulness.
For the past number of years, together PANGEA have established themselves as masters of raucous surf-rock gems, and while this new single holds all the band’s usual bratty charm, it feels far more considered and comforting. “I wanted to write something a little more positive,” singer William Keegan said in a press release.
So, take the arvo off, pour yourself a drink, and go hang by the pool. together PANGEA have just delivered the perfect soundtrack for you to do so.
