PREMIERE: Wooly Mammoth keep spreading their dreamy vibes on Slowing at Sunrise

Perth dream rockers Wooly Mammoth make a terrific mark with their sentimental new track Slowing at Sunrise.

The song opens with an instrumental arrangement, before changing rhythm and getting into the first verse. The track sets the scene for a story about the importance of listening to others, no matter how much we want to ignore them to pursue our own instincts.

This’ll get you dancing in no time. Slowing at Sunrise is another feel-good number from Wooly Mammoth, a band on a mission to spread their good vibes and showing no signs of stopping.

“Slowing at Sunrise is about feeling like you’re tripping over at the last hurdle every time, but deciding to celebrate the fact you got to that last hurdle in the first place,” says the band.

2018 was a massive year for the band, and a year of firsts.

They released their debut EP Fell, Took Flight, went on their first national headlining tour, supported indie rock bands Holy Holy and Husky, and scored their first ever festival appearance at Falls Festival in Perth.

They’re an unstoppable force continuously gaining momentum and are set to release more music in the new year – so keep your eyes peeled and ears at the ready for more tunes!

Slowing at Sunrise is out Wednesday December 5th.
