Just as we thought Newtown’s Bank Hotel couldn’t get any bigger, they are hitting us with a massive selection of live acts throughout November. With their live music space Waywards recently renovated, there’s never been a better time.
A well-established Sydney institution, The Bank is located right next to Newtown station, hosting the best of the Inner West and beyond.
Lineups delivered by the Bank Hotel are getting bigger and better, so if you’re around Sydney, be sure to come along for a stellar night of live music.
To kick things off on November 8, Sydney’s Micra will set out on their debut east coast tour in support of their latest single Fuzz Captain. They’ll be joined by Queensland-via-Indonesia indie champion Chakra Efendi, and anthem queen Ivana Kafedjiyska.
On November 14, Yulli’s Dolly Aldrin is teaming up with the Bank Hotel to deliver a night of their traditional German-style sour wheat ale and some killer music. Taste your way through the eight beautiful brews and dance the night away with the Yulli’s House Band.
Punk-rock duo The Gooch Palms will bless the Bank Hotel with their glorious noise, gritty guitars and colourful costumes on November 15, joined by Neighbourhood Void and Neighbours for what will most certainly be a belter of a night.
The following night, Sydney locals should round up for another free party, featuring the likes of Shogun & The Sheets, Leroy Francis and Lorelei.
On November 23, get down for Leeroy Perez as he graces the stage with his contemporary flow and powerful head-nodding tracks. His set will be backed up by some incredible tunes delivered by 2oolit, Mowgli May and Tulett.
To end the month with a bang and to celebrate the re-launch of the beloved Waywards, the Bank will be teaming up with Young Henrys and Childe Eyewear to put on a massive Stay All Day Summer Party. The event will feature an incredible lineup, including VOIID, Georgia June, The Oogars, Nick Nuisance & The Delinquents, The Lazy Eyes, Good Pash, Tuppaware Party and Misty Lanes. Also get keen for Polish Club DJs, Psyched As DJs, and a huge Childe Eyewear giveaway.
