Intimate camping event A Festival Called PANAMA takes place in the heart of Tasmania’s pristine North Eastern forest ranges on March 6th, 7th and 8th, 2020.

For the 2020 event, Julia Jacklin and Aldous Harding will be topping the bill, bringing their critically acclaimed new albums and full-band sets to the main stage.

Not only that, but the festival will be blessed with the likes of Evelyn Champagne King who will perform a set of disco classics with Melbourne’s own Mondo Freaks as her backing band. Kevin Morby will bring his rich Americana style while hard-edged English electronic punk duo Sleaford Mods will also stop by to supply us with the bops.

To top it all off, supergroup Dyson Stringer Cloher are set to perform as well as Haiku HandsGenesis OwusuGordon Koang, Kikagaku MoyoMiss June, MildlifeHORSE&WOOD and Tiana Khasi. If one thing is certain, A Festival Called PANAMA is delivering the goods from all over the globe.

The festival will also see the music program complemented by a screening of the documentary Her Sound, Her Story as well as a panel discussion led by its director Claudia Sangiorgi Dallimore.

All this from the festival without litter, cash, or single-use cups set in the forested hills of Northeast Tasmania. Beaut.
