Frontman reflects on the legacy that is KISS

KISS is about to hit Australia with The End of the Road World Tour. In preparation for the big night, frontman Paul Stanley has revealed a few reflections on the journey that got him to where he is today.

Famed for their theatrical face paint, costumes, and pyrotechnics, as much as their music, KISS has always known how to put on a show.

KISS frontman, Paul Stanley caught up with the ABC this morning, to chat about what fans can expect on the upcoming tour, as well as the satisfaction of being at the forefront of such an enigmatic and groundbreaking era.

“Being at a concert means being immersed in an experience, and for me, showmanship and putting on a show is also a responsibility,” he told ABC Radio this morning.

The night of nights is set to feature the band in all their face-painted glory, with a set list that will be featuring music from across the decades: “I’d like to think that in some ways we were a wake-up call to audiences of what they should expect,” said Stanley. Everyone else who is out on tour, or who has been out on tour, has KISS DNA in their show.”

With The End of the Road World Tour set to arrive on your doorstep any day, for those that have as yet to get their tickets, (admittedly, most of us have had a ticket since the show was first announced back in 2019) you’ve got until the Saturday the 20th (Melbourne), to get your tickets for the hottest farewell tour this side of 2022.
