Rick Parnell, who played Mick Shrimpton in the 1984 cult classic This Is Spinal Tap passed away at the age of 70.
Fellow fake band member Harry Shearer, who also starred in the mockumentary announced the news via Twitter.
Parnell’s cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
