After managing to pull off a festival mid-pandemic, Yours & Owls is returning next year at full force and increased capacity!
Ahhh yes, the feeling of warm sun on your back, surrounded by friends, and some of the best local talent gracing your inner ears! Yours & Owls have officially shared their 2022 festival date – it’s happening on April 2nd and 3rd.
It’s a much-needed piece of good news, as festivals have been almost non-existent in NSW and around Australia for the last two years.
After having to reschedule the dates for their 2020 festival to January 2021, the festival was able to successfully run amid a global pandemic, much to the surprise and elation of its patrons and the Wollongong music scene at large.
The organisers have said that Yours & Owls’ 2022 edition will be bigger and better than ever, with the festival shifting sites to accommodate more punters at their “spiritual home” Stuart Park in Wollongong.
“We will, of course, be in constant contact with the relevant overlords every step of the way to make sure we deliver you on of the best events to date in the safest way possible. Looking into our glass ball for April 2022, we see nothing but a clean run back to the glory days of Yours & Owls as you know it and love it!”
The event will run across April 2nd and 3rd for some long overdue Autumn vibes by the beach.
Previous Yours & Owls lineups have included some of the biggest names in Australian and global music, and we’re sure they won’t disappoint this time around. The lineup is already confirmed and will be announced in the coming weeks.
