Goros is turning 4 years young and to celebrate, they’re throwing a week’s worth of wild and wonderful parties. Don your best Japanese-inspired garb and join the fun.

What’s the most gyozas you ever ate in one sitting? On Monday October 28th you’ll be able to grab everyone’s favourite pan-fried Japanese treat for just $1 a pop. There’s five styles to choose from, so everyone from the prawn lovers to vegetarians will be well and truly covered.

After you’ve rolled out the door on Monday, you’ll want to roll right back on in for Tuesday’s Pop Culture Trivia. Sam & Sam will be on hosting duties once again, and the Birthday Week theme is officially The Office – the US version. Easiest shit to study for ever… hello rewatch.

On Wednesday 30th the fabled Goros Castle will return for a very special 4th Birthday edition. If you warmed up on the $1 gyozas you’ll be happy to hear there’s an eating competition taking place, plus plenty of other good times and zany challenges coming your way.

On October 31st Goros will be well and truly in spook mode, throwing a special Harajuku Halloween party. Expect zombie Sailor Moons, freaky Lolita fashion, and a whole lot more. This is Japan we’re theming on, it’s gonna get wacky. Plus, it will be a no-lockout, extended hours ’til 3am night. Yowza.

The very first day of November means FRIDAY HIGHLITES, the free Friday party Goros have earned themselves a spot of a reputation for. DJs the likes of Nickles, Isa and Adam Lewis will be on the decks through to close, so pop in any time and boogie down hard.

Saturday November 2nd comes in two halves; day and night. Lunchtime will see Goros transformed into a Japanese street food market, then as the sun goes down the venue will officially kick off the final 4th Birthday bonanza. There will a one-off set from Smash Manga Festival’s DJadeabella plus a performance from cosplay dance troupe Mews.

Check out a rundown of the full Goros 4th Birthday week below. All events are free, but the venue recommends booking a spot if one in particular takes your fancy – these are expected to be very popular.
