River Hounds are a dynamic and captivating presence on Runaway

Since forming in early 2017, London-based four-piece River Hounds have toured extensively around the UK, building themselves as one of the most dynamic live indie-rock acts currently making the rounds.

Last week, the band unveiled their new video for She (recorded live at the iconic Abbey Road Studios). With its release, audiences from all over were given a sneak peek at their incredible live chops. Now, they’ve shared Runaway; the second taste of their Live at Abbey Road series.

On their new video for Runaway, recorded live from Abbey Road Studios, London-based four-piece River Hounds continue to establish themselves as a live band to watch.

While She is an anthemic indie-rock belter, Runaway is an emotive slow-burner that will pull you in and leave you hanging on each word. The two songs, stood alongside one another, perfectly showcase the band’s versatility. They’re capable of creating sonic gems in any area of the rock spectrum.

With soaring vocal hooks, spell-binding guitar lines, and air-tight percussion, Runaway is the kind of song that sticks with you for weeks.

The third instalment of their Live at Abbey Road series is yet to arrive, but judging by the quality of everything we’ve heard so far, I think we can safely expect plenty more quality tunes.

For now, do yourself a favour and watch the new live video for Runaway above.
