Addison Rae slammed for “blasphemous” bikini picture

Addison Rae’s now-deleted Instagram bikini shot has sparked a tonne of backlash for being “blasphemous” and “disrespectful.”

After posting an image of herself modelling a controversial bikini set designed by online fashion retailer Praying, Addison Rae received a tonne of backlash from fans, who found the garment to be “blasphemous” and “disrespectful” to their religious beliefs.

In her now-deleted Instagram post, the 21-year-old influencer and actress is sporting a white bikini top, with the words “Father” and “Son” printed on either side.

While Addison’s pic only shows her from the waist up, the bottom half of this “Holy Trinity Bikini Set,” currently available on the website prayingg.com for $100 USD, says “Holy Trinity.”

Hoards of people have taken offense to Praying’s design, and Addison Rae’s decision to support it by showcasing herself wearing the garment.

Shortly after posting the image on Tuesday, fans of the He’s All That actress flooded her comments section: “Nah this disrespectful to Jesus. Sad what y’all do for money,” wrote one Instagram user. Another person said, “this is not okay! BLASPHEMY!”

It appears that neither Addison Rae nor her team has commented on the backlash as of yet. What do you guys think about all of this?
