Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Snook and Kodi Smit-McPhee have been nominated for the Screen Actors Guild awards and we love to see it.
Out of all the film award ceremonies, the Screen Actors Guild awards certainly have one of the better reputations.
The awards are seen as more legit as they’re acting awards voted on by actual actors, not a small room full of the Hollywood elite. It’s a much bigger room.
Four Aussie have made it into the nominations this year and we couldn’t be more proud.
Kodi Smit-McPhee has been nominated for his role in The Power of the Dog and Sarah Snook received her first nom for her killer performance in TV hit Succession.
Aussie starlets Nichole Kidman and Cat Blanchett have also been spotted as still fabulously talented, no duh! Nicole (Being the Ricardos) is nominated for outstanding performance by a female actor and Cate (Nightmare Alley) got her nom for her supporting role.
