She’s Got Love from Frills is 3.5 minutes of distilled dance floor euphoria

Not half a year since they dropped their supremely delicious debut EP Human Beingz, Brooklyn duo Frills have hit back hard with their new jam She’s Got Love.

It’s their most upbeat tune to date, and whether you’re in the car, the office chair, or lazing on the couch at home, we promise you’ll get down to this.

Tinged by moments of psychedelic bliss, Frills’ new tune She’s Got Love will get you moving right down to the soul.

The brainchild of New Zealanders Simon Oscroft and Dan Gibson, Frills make music for the endless summer. It’s festival-ready electro with sunshine beaming out of every fill, and you’d have to be hospitalised not to dance to it.

She’s Got Love continues down this line, blending phased beats amongst bright, brassy synth tones. All the while, the duo’s bubbly vocals weave tales of love, lust, and losing yourself in the bliss of it all.

The sound calls back to the most feel-good moments of indie-pop’s past, from the warped synth patches akin to MGMT’s Electric Feel, to the elevated vocals of Australia’s Gypsy & The Cat, even the bouncy beats of Kiwi contemporary HIGH HØØPS.

Frills distill these key sonic moments into their own addictive little concoction, a new-age sound that’s as exciting as it is refreshing. As we approach the winter solstice and begin counting down the days until festival season begins again, be sure you’ll hear more from this duo.
