Melbourne’s indie darlings, Sophisticated Dingo, are taking a sweet, soulful turn with their latest single, “I Don’t Mind.”
This captivating track is a departure from their usual high-energy anthems, offering a more introspective and contemplative feel. But fear not, Dingo fans, the song still builds to a powerful crescendo that’s perfect for belting out at festivals or catching a wave at your local pub.
Lewis Matte, the band’s vocalist and guitarist, describes the song as a reminder to “embrace the journey, the good, the bad, and the beautifully imperfect.” It’s a message of cherishing the present, learning from the past, and building dreams with the people you love.
This new single follows a monumental year for Sophisticated Dingo. They made waves at BIGSOUND, caught the eye of Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda, landed a spot on Live Nation’s Ones To Watch list, and saw their single “Radio On” climb the charts. They wrapped up 2023 with a bang, co-headlining a Christmas show with fellow rockers The Velvet Club.
