Psych pop artist Butter Bath recently visited the Live from Happy studios. Coming in with the lead single You’ll Find Me, Beija Flor from his EP Kurrajong Hotel, released in May 2022.
Written, recorded and produced by Butter Bath with his good friend Hector Gachan, You’ll Find Me, Beija Flor was spawned from singing about the imagery of rivers and a great conversation that sparked the lyrics for the song.
Armed with just a guitar, pedal board and voice, Butter Bath swung into the Happy Studio to perform a soulful solo version of You’ll Find Me, Beija Flor.
You’ll Find Me, Beija Flor was Mixed and Recorded by Tim McArtney, Owen Penglis and Radi Safi.

Tweaking his pedal board to create a beautiful wash of reverb and echo with his Fender Strat, Butter Bath launched into the single.
Here’s what Butter Bath had to say about You’ll Find Me, Beija Flor before taking to the stage:
“I wrote this about a year ago with my good friend Hector Gachan. We had a wonderful writing it. We just started jamming and singing with lots of ideas of imagery of rivers.”
