DJ Phoenix Manson’s ‘Natural Selections’ number 4 is cool perfection

Getting amongst nature is nothing new for DJ Phoenix Manson. Back with ‘Natural Selections’ No 4, Manson is bringing music to the mountain, and back again for your listening pleasure.

Phoenix Manson is an Australian DJ & music producer who is bringing together all of his favorite passions in an immersive and eclectic mix to deliver a modern take on an old-school sound.

Since graduating from Abbey Road Institute (London), Manson has innovated on what it means to be an artist in the modern music industry. After a stint performing music festivals in, India, and across Europe, he is back on home ground and has embarked on something very new and very original.

‘Natural Selections’, is a unique exploration of Youtube conceptual videos of a series of DJ sets performed by Manson in some of Australia’s most iconic national parks.

The fourth episode of Natural Selections brings the series to the frozen wonderland of Mount Buller, overlooking the Victorian high country. Produced in collaboration with It’s A Feeling Creations, the video incorporates jaw-droppingly good drone footage of the summit and glimpses of the winter wildlife.

Perched 1,700 meters above sea level, you can catch DJ Phoenix Manson upon the face of Mount Buller performing a seamless blend of Deep House music designed to take you to a special palace, no matter where you listen from, work, study or just relaxing to.

When asked about the future of the Natural Selections concept, Manson shared that he would love to DJ some Winter sets, and is in talks with Spurs Smoke House, the venue situated upon the top of Mount Buller, to discuss plans to DJ for their amazing Après-ski event series throughout September. It doesn’t get more idyllic and toasty than that.
