Kim Kardashian has announced a new signature earbuds range, Beats x Kim, available in three different colours.
Kim Kardashian’s latest business endeavour sees her teaming up with Beats to launch a customised version of their popular earbuds range, Beats Fit Pro. The SKIMS founder and reality star took to Instagram yesterday, to announce the forthcoming Beats x Kim collection.
“I’m so excited to share Beats Fit Pro by @beatsbydre will be coming soon in 3 signature neutrals, designed by me!” wrote Kim. “Can’t wait for you to try them out on 8/16.”
The new collection will be available in three monochromatic neutral tones – Moon (light), Dune (medium), and Earth (deep). The selected colour range aims to help people either “blend in or stand out.” As stated by Kim in a press release, “I wanted to break away from the idea that headphones have to be colorful to make a statement.”
She continues: “This collaboration is special because it allows you to blend in or stand out, and Beats is known for creating products that showcase individuality.”

To accompany the release, Beats has posted a campaign video, starring Kardashian, who explains her motivation behind creating the new Beats x Kim range: “I think I would just want people to understand that this is also a fashion accessory that’s reusable.”
She adds, “Since you’re wearing something every day, I wanted [the earbuds] to be able to blend in. And I’ve never seen any tech products, especially headphones be neutral colors.”
The Beats x Kim collection, valued at $199.99, is set to drop online next Tuesday, August 16 (EST). They will be available to purchase at either apple.com/kim or Amazon. From Wednesday, August 17 onwards, there will also be limited stock made available at select Apple Stores.
