PREMIERE: The Unknowns will slap you across the head on their new EP Forever Slaving Always Craving

A couple of months back, when Sunshine Coast based three-piece The Unknowns released their single Doing The Grind, we were immediately on board with their raucous, surfy garage sounds.

Now with the release of their brand-spanking-new EP Forever Slaving Always Craving, the band have further developed their sound to deliver something that’ll leave you shaking at the knees.

If you’re not yet familiar with The Unknowns, you’ve been missing out. Their new EP Forever Slaving Always Craving is a beautiful assault of surfy garage noises.

Across the new EP, The Unknowns fly through a bone-rattling concoction of blues, surf, garage, punk, and old-school rock n’ roll to craft a sound that feels simultaneously nostalgic and fresh.

With flailing vocals and jangly guitars, Forever Slaving Always Craving is an all-out assault of scuzzy sounds from start to finish. It’s an absolute smack in the face… but we guarantee you’ll be left asking for more.

Here’s hoping we won’t have to wait long to hear what this Queensland trio deliver next. For now, do yourself a favour and listen to the new EP above, and catch the band live at any of the following dates:

Friday 19th October – Cafe Le Monde, Noosa – Doors 8pm, $10 Entry
Saturday 20th October – Lefty’s Old Time Music Hall, Brisbane – From 9pm, Free Entry
