Lady Gaga and Metallica have joined the live performance ticket of the 2017 Grammy Awards, joining a star-studded list of some of the world’s biggest musicians.
This follows Lady Gaga’s well received Super Bowl performance, and the better part of last year being occupied by Metallica comeback tours following their latest record.
Other confirmed duets for the awards ceremony include Daft Punk making their long-awaited live comeback alongside The Weeknd and what’s sure to be a rowdy collab between Anderson .Paak and A Tribe Called Quest.
Rumours of a massive Prince tribute are also flying around, with the recent news that his musical catalogue would be coming to Spotify, Apple Music and all other major streaming services on the night of the Grammys.
In other news Kanye West, Drake and Justin Bieber are reportedly planning to miss the awards on purpose, citing their objections over the “relevance” over this year’s nominees… but does anyone really care?
