In the wee hours of July 24 (2 am to be exact if you live on the east coast of Australia), the Xbox Games Showcase will take place. According to a report from VGC, The event will be largely centred on the games coming out Xbox Game Studios, including the next instalment of the iconic Halo series.
After initially getting the jump on the PS5 with its gameplay reveal, Sony well and truly caught up with its own showcase, including the unveiling of the PS5’s final console design. But now Microsoft will steal back the limelight and surely go a little deeper into its much-vaunted next-gen gameplay capability.
The Xbox Games Showcase is happening in the early hours of July 24. On the agenda are new Xbox Games Studios titles including Halo: Infinite.
In the last major reveal, Xbox showed off snippets of upcoming titles like Dirt 5, Scarlet Nexus, Yakuza: Like a Dragon and, of course, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. While undoubtedly visually stunning, this tiny taste wasn’t really enough to sate the thirst of fans across the globe, so here’s hoping that there’ll be a deeper dive into the gameplay of this high-powered machine.
Come July 24, brew that coffee and tune into all the action.
