ujam Beatmaker HYPE puts festival ready anthems at your fingertips

ujam Instruments has released Beatmaker HYPE, the latest in their Beatmaker series. It focuses on EDM, with tools to make “stadium-sized beats“.

ujam is a music technology maker founded by prolific German composer Hans Zimmer and American record producer Pharrell Williams. The unlikely pair created ujam to “enhance the creative process and to make music creation faster, better and easier than ever”. Their Beatmaker series provides easy, ready-made plugin packs for specific genres. Previous releases include DOPE (’90s hip hop), VOID (drum & bass) and VICE (’80s synthwave).

HYPE is catered towards huge-sounding EDM and progressive house music, so as you might imagine includes expansive synths, heavy bass lines and euphoric chord progressions. Like previous Beatmaker releases, HYPE allows beginners to jump into producing without extensive knowledge of the finer details.

It features 460 Progressive House, EDM, Deep House and classic Ibiza chord and melody patterns. There are also 50 signature presets, 10 drum kits and 12 mix presets. MIDI drag and drop allows you to assign the presets to your MIDI device so you can jam to the vast range of sounds on offer. If you consider yourself a budding Martin Garrix with limited production experience, then HYPE is a great option.

HYPE is the sixth release in the Beatmaker series and can be purchased by itself or within the Beatmaker pack. It would particularly compliment Beatmaker EDEN, the first EDM release in the Beatmaker series. To find out more, go to the ujam website.
