A TikTok trend has gone viral where women are posting the worst text messages they’ve received from a guy, the results won’t surprise you.
One of the greatest things about TikTok is that it magnifies a voice to common problems that are often believed to be isolated.
A hashtag is currently trending for all the women who have dealt with absolutely horrible straight men.
The trend plays the lyrics “I found a guy told me I was a star” from Olivia Rodrigo’s All I Want over screenshots of these truly horrific displays of misogyny. And the results are hilariously painful to read.

What strikes me the most with this trend is the sheer volume of TikToks rolling in. From women who were in a one-sided relationship to guys just being downright rude, it seems that this common problem is worse than we thought.
