I Know Leopard Performs ‘Good As What You Give’ Live at Enmore
PRESENTED BY
For the past decade, I Know Leopard has been a beacon in the Australian indie-pop scene. Their style is fresh but undoubtedly wears its influences on its sleeve, with their singles bathed in the glow of the golden era of pop and soft rock.
The latest addition to this celebrated oeuvre — and the track they brought to the Live at Enmore studios — is Good As What You Give: a meditation on the power of positive engagement with the world around you.
The performance spoke to the musical bond that’s shared between the three members. Rich in memorable melody and colourful harmony, Good As What You Give is I Know Leopard at their goosebump-inducing best.
Good As What You Give was Mixed and Recorded by Owen Penglis and Radi Safi
The band travelled light, with lead singer Luke O’Loughlin providing piano, drums, and samples, Jenny McCullagh on violin and backing vocals, and Rosie Fitzgerald on bass and backing vocals.
Here’s what O’Loughlin had to say about Good As What You Give before the session:
“It’s about learning to reopen yourself to the rest of the world. If you want to feel connected, you have to give something and put your own love out there to feel that love back.”
