During our chat, Tokyo Vendetta delved into the inspirations behind her music, citing Lil’ Kim as a pivotal influence she discovered during her formative years. Recounting a moment of discovery while playing hooky at home, she stumbled upon the track on her dad’s laptop, nestled within his iTunes library.

As Tokyo Vendetta experiences a rapid ascent in the industry, she candidly acknowledged the challenges that come with newfound fame, underscoring the importance of personal growth and self-discovery.

Her upcoming EP, slated for release next month, serves as a testament to this evolution, marking a significant milestone in her burgeoning career.

Tokyo Vendetta’s journey gained considerable momentum with the success of her debut “Times Up” (freestyle), a track that went viral on TikTok, amassing over 200k views within the first 24 hours. 

The subsequent release of “Whoa” further solidified her position as the Australian Queen of Rap, a title bestowed by her growing community.
